Health Testing

The 3 main health concerns for the Bengal Breed are, Pk-Def, PRA and most importantly HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) is a heart condition that can be genetically passed down very easily, My first pet Bengal passed away before her 2nd birthday due to HCM. There is no black and white test for this, us breeders must routinely have echocardiograms done on all of our breeding cats to ensure we are not passing this disease down to offspring. We take the health of our cats and kittens seriously and offer a comprehensive 2 year health guarantee for every kitten we sell. Our Bengals are up-to-date on vaccinations and come with a clean bill of health from our veterinarian. We're confident in the quality of our kittens and stand behind them 100%.

All of our breeding cats undergo an echocardiogram annually by a board certified cardiologist John MacGregor, DVM, DACVIM Cardiology here in Maine.

All of our breeding cats test negative for PRA & PK-def and 46 other genetic variants, before being breed.

Routine fecal PCR’s are sent to Kedi labs to confirm everyone is clear of worms, parasites, and other harmful organisms.
